ARRB office Melbourne, Amicus interiors case study | United Workplace

Spotlight on Amicus’s delivery of a workplace for research organisation ARRB designed to attract talent and foster innovation.

The Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) worked with Amicus to create a workplace aligned with its ongoing cultural and brand change process. It wanted an environment that would help strengthen its position as an industry leader, foster innovation and help to attract and retain the best talent. The project was complex, incorporating large client- and partner-facing areas, flexible office space, laboratories, warehouse and outdoor areas. The works were delivered in conjunction with a change management process.

The workplace is dually functional to ensure space is utilised to best advantage. The impact of efficient service and space optimisation has been significant, with teams that had not previously interacted now working cohesively and collaboratively. The workspace is fully wireless and cloud-based, with a system capable of understanding the individual preferences of employees.
